Brunswick Eruption is an off-season competition where the 2008 FIRST Overdrive game is replayed. The mission of the FIRST Robotics program is to "inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication and leadership." - usfirst.org

Special deal to all teams: Register for only $100.
Teams are invited to bring a Pre-Rookie team to Brunswick Eruption 7.0 using one of your older robots refitted to play the FIRST Overdrive game. The Pre-Rookie team will be given free admission. The loaning team will pay only $100 - yes, that's half the price. Bring two pre-rookie teams and get free admission. We do this because we believe that once a pre-rookie team gets involved and participates in the enthusiasm, spirit and excitement of FIRST, they will join us on a field in the spring.
